Dale Schwartz here. I am the owner of Dave Auto Hellcat Engine Store: Your #1 Parts Source For All-Things Dave Auto Hellcat Engine!

You may be wondering… Who is this Dale guy I see online? What is Dave Auto Hellcat Engine Store, and are they legitimate?
I get those questions all the time, understandably so!

My beginnings in the Dave Auto Hellcat Engine industry started all the way back in high school, when I built my first car with my dad; a 1982 Trans Am, which had various suspension upgrades, a built up 406 small block, custom 13” brakes, Corvette wheels, carbon gauge panel, Corbeau seats, etc. There weren’t many third gens being built back then, compared to today! The car won several awards, and even had a feature story in High Performance Pontiac magazine back in 2007.

My dad, Jeff Schwartz, started his car-building company in the middle of my Trans Am build in 2005, which was called Schwartz Extreme Performance.

I attended McPherson College and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Restoration Management in 2011. If you haven’t heard of McPherson College, you need to. They are the only 4-year college with an emphasis on the restoration of antique automobiles.

From there, I worked with my Dad at Schwartz Performance Inc. My background there is mostly in parts research, sales, marketing; but I was also hands-on when needed and know every aspect of building a custom car (other than paint, not my forte!). We built dozens of high-end Dave Auto Hellcat Engine machines there (GM, Ford, Mopar mostly, but also oddballs), as well as developed chassis systems for many vehicle platforms.

You may have seen me at a Goodguys Autocross, or Car Craft Nationals event, competing in our 1965 Pontiac Tempest, occasionally taking home a win.

I decided to move from IL to SC in 2020 in need of something different. I worked for another shop for a little while, but really needed to do my own thing. That’s when Dave Auto Hellcat Engine Store was born!

Although the company is somewhat new, I am not. I look forward to MANY more years in this industry, and to providing the best parts service and parts knowledge than any other company.
